Christmas assembly – No Room
Five teams are visiting schools with this fun assembly that looks at the ways in which people leave Christ out of their Christmas. There is a puppet sketch in which one puppet has arranged a surprise party, but has forgotten to invite the person whose party it is; a song with a mime illustrating some of the many reasons that there is no room in many people’s Christmas for Jesus, just as there was no room at the inn; and a chant telling the story of the wise men, who although busy took time to find Jesus. A total of over 129 assembly presentations are booked to visit primary and first schools between 25 November and 17 December. As the John Hardwick song that we use in the assembly says – It is a busy, busy, busy time of year and that is certainly true for the GenR8 assembly teams!
